Paris Saint-Germain have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Napoli star Kalidou Koulibaly after reports emerged that the defender has bought a £3.4million apartment in the French capital.
Koulibaly is much-loved in Naples but has previously endured a difficult relationship with the club’s president Aurelio de Laurentiis, and PSG are keen to sign him as a long-term replacement for Thiago Silva.
Silva’s contract runs out in the summer and PSG are no closer to agreeing an extension, so have turned their attentions to securing a move for Koulibaly.

And they were given some positives news this week amid reports in Le Parisien that Koulibaly has purchased an apartment near the Eiffel Tower.
The 28-year-old could set them back a hefty amount though, with Napoli said to be keen on a fee of around £127m for the influential man.
CalcioMercato report that PSG have spoken to Napoli and want to discuss a discount on the asking price, but discussions are not expected to be simple.
